Alcorn to host upcoming Multicultural Festival
Students, faculty, and staff will gather come together to celebrate everyone's unique culture.
Alcorn State University's Office of Global Programs will present its annual Multicultural Festival Wednesday, April 11 with a parade of students all waving their home country's flag at 12:45 p.m. The Festival will then carry on in the James L. Bolden Campus Union Ballroom from 1-4:30 p.m. This year's Festival theme is "Global Rhythms."
The featured guest for this event is Taikoza Japanese Taiko. Taikoza uses powerful rhythms of special Taiko drums to create an electrifying energy that carries audiences to a new dimension of excitement. The Conscious Campus Organization and the Director of Global Programs, Dr. Dovi Alipoe made this engagement possible.
