Alcorn State University will welcome prospective students and their families to its Fall High School and Transfer Day on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, on the main campus.

Registration begins at 10 a.m., with campus tours starting at 10:30 a.m.

Prospective students will learn about Alcorn’s academic programs, student life, and financial aid options. Each registered student will receive a swag bag and a game ticket to watch the Braves take on Prairie View A&M University at 3 p.m. in Spinks-Casem Stadium.

High School Day attendees should enter through the North Entrance. Students in personal vehicles should use General Parking areas, while buses will drop off students near the activity area.

“We are excited to welcome our future Braves to campus to show them what awaits them,” said De’Martinez Simmons, director of admissions and recruiting. “High School and Transfer Day is about more than just visiting the Alcorn campus. It’s a chance for prospective students to experience our atmosphere and see how Alcorn can set them on a path to success.”

Students are encouraged to bring transcripts and test scores for review, and the application fee will be waived for those who apply on-site.

Game day policies include cashless operations for all on-campus purchases, including parking, tickets and concessions. Tickets should be purchased online at alcornsports.myimpacttickets.com. A clear-bag policy will be enforced at the stadium, and no re-entry is permitted. Prohibited items include outside food, drinks, and umbrellas. The campus is tobacco-free.
