Dr. Tracy M. Cook, president of Alcorn State University, will serve as guest speaker at the Seeds of Change Resource Foundation Black History Program on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the Natchez City Auditorium, 207 Jefferson St., Natchez, Miss. The event is free and open to the public.
The program will honor six young men who attended the Steve Harvey Mentorship Camp. Guest performer Jeremiah “Drummer” Travis will also appear.
The event is presented by Olivia Wilson.
Cook leads Alcorn State University, the nation’s oldest historically Black land-grant university, located in Lorman, Miss. Under his leadership, Alcorn State has advanced its mission of academic excellence, student success and community engagement. He guides the university’s strategic vision for expanding access and opportunity for students across the region.
