Food for Thought – Giving Kind Gestures
Giving kind gestures to those in need is just one of the elements that define the character of the Alcorn family. Alcorn is consistent at lending a helping hand by collecting funds to aid students who are struggling financially to take classes, attend conferences, valuable trainings or internships, awarding students with scholarships that will help them continue their education and so on. Alcorn employees and alumni are the perfect example of what a good Samaritan is.
With the start of the new academic semester approaching rapidly, my heart goes out to the thousands of young people who will struggle to stay in school. We must do what we can to help as many Alcorn students stay in school. Display a random act of kindness by making a donation to the Alcorn State University Foundation today.
