Food for Thought – Prioritize, Stay Focused, Get Involved.

At Summer Orientation, Advising and Registration June 27, Miss Alcorn 2014-15 Cortni Cooper told the class of 2018 to, “prioritize, stay focused, get involved, and don’t forget to have fun.” As we get ready to welcome a new class of Braves to “The Yard” in August, we echo these words encouraging students, new and returning, to find a balance between academics, extracurricular activities and fun. Remember, the four years you spend at Alcorn will help shape your life, expand your knowledge and build character. Yes, have fun, explore your new freedoms but remember “you only get out of life what you put in”. So, stay focused as you continue your path of achievement.
