Upward Bound welcomes students

The Alcorn State University Upward Bound Program welcomes high school students in Adams, Claiborne, Jefferson and Wilkinson counties to participate in the six-week summer program.

Applications can be picked up on the second floor of the Alcorn State University Bio-Technology Building.

Upward Bound program director Lucille Donaldson believes that the experience would be beneficial to surrounding youth.

“This would be an exciting and rewarding experience for students,” said Donaldson. “Our goal is to motivate and cultivate young minds to meet future challenges.”
