Thurgood Marshall College Fund scheduled to visit Alcorn

A representative from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) will be at Alcorn State University discussing opportunities for students.

The Office of Pre-Professional and Honors Curriculum Program invite students to learn more about the opportunities available through TMCF. Representative Lenora Longstreet-Haire will be speaking on the opportunities Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon in the J. D. Boyd Library Auditorium.

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is named after the U.S. Supreme Court’s first African-American Justice, Thurgood Marshal. It is the only national organization that supports the 47 publicly supported historically black colleges and universities. The college fund helps students acquire a high quality college education at an affordable cost, develops future leaders and connects high performing students with top tier employment opportunities.
