Schools of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and Business to Host Schreiber Foods, Inc., Company Seeking to Hire Students

Employment. Internships. Schreiber Foods, Inc.

Graduating seniors with the School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and the School of Business will be given the opportunity to meet with representatives, from Schreiber Foods, Inc., February 1-2, 2017 at the Lorman campus of Alcorn State University.

D.J. Daniels, Human Resources, and Quinton Jones, International Sales and Exports, both team leaders from Schreiber Foods, Inc., will visit Alcorn State to offer employment and intern opportunities to students to fill positions as Production Team Advisors. The two-day event will consist of both informational sessions and interviews.

On February 1, two informational sessions will be held:

  • 10:30 -11:30 a.m., Ray Johnson Assembly Center, Research and Extension Complex
  • 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., auditorium, Biotechnology Building

Throughout the sessions, students will learn about the company, employment qualifications, and numerous career advancement opportunities.

On day-two, qualified students that are interested in working for the company will be interviewed. Students may sign up for an interview in the Office of Assistant Dean, School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, Extension and Research Complex, Room 260.

“Interested students should come prepared with an open mind. They should be prepared to listen to the information presented as well as ask questions. For those going onto day two as an interviewee, come prepared to adequately present yourself as a future productive employee of a great company,” advises Don Smith, director of development, School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.
