Annual student celebration set for March 29–April 1
In the spirit of the most legendary house party in hip-hop history, Alcorn State University is bringing it back to campus. BraveFest 2026 is here, and as always, it will not disappoint.
Set for March 29 through April 1, this year’s House Party-themed celebration brings four days of events to the Lorman campus for currently enrolled students.
The schedule of events is as follows —
Sunday, March 29: The week kicks off with a Divine Nine probate at the E.E. Simmons Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
Monday, March 30: Midnight Breakfast will be held from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Dr. Clinton Bristow Jr. Dining Facility. A valid student Gold Card is required for entry.
Tuesday, March 31: BraveFest Bayou, a Water Day and Crawfish Boil, will take place from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the Campus Green. Activities include water slides, a dunking booth, slip-and-slide kickball and class games.
Wednesday, April 1: BraveFest concludes with a concert at the Davey L. Whitney Complex. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Showtime is 7:15 p.m. A valid student Gold Card is required for entry. The artist lineup will be announced at the March 29 kickoff.
