Coranisha Warren, Dr. Robert Sizemore to represent Alcorn at the 32nd annual HEADWAE Program

A student and a professor from Alcorn State University’s Department of Biology will represent the University during an annual appreciation program.

Coranisha Warren, a senior biology major and Dr. Robert Sizemore, a professor of biological sciences, will be honorees at the 32ndannual Higher Education Appreciation Day – Working for Academic Excellence (HEADWAE) Program Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Jackson Marriott Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi.

The HEADWAE program was established by the Mississippi Legislature to annually honor the scholastically talented students and exceptional faculty members of Mississippi's higher education institutions. The goal of the program is to recognize and thank these remarkable individuals for their commitment to the future of the State of Mississippi.

Appreciation Day activities include honoree recognition by political and corporate groups, educators from public and independent MAC member institutions and others who value and support excellence in higher education.
