Alcorn State University’s Office of Global Programs is gearing up for its International Education Week from Nov. 13-15, showcasing the university’s commitment to fostering diversity and global perspectives among the University community.
Kicking off on Monday, November 13, the Open House at the Office of Global Programs from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. invites students and the community to explore the various international opportunities available at Alcorn. Following the Open House, a Cultural Presentation will be hosted at Dumas Hall from 5:00 p.m.-6 p.m.
Tuesday, November 14, brings a lively Russian Dance Workshop to the Student Center Ballroom from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., allowing participants to immerse themselves in the rhythmic beats and vibrant movements of Russian dance. The festivities continue with Henna Evening at the Office of Global Programs from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., an opportunity for attendees to experience the artistry of henna while engaging in cultural exchange.
On Wednesday, November 15, the Office of Global Programs will be abuzz with creativity during the Chinese Crafts session from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Later in the day, Dumas Hall will once again be the venue for a Cultural Presentation from 5:00 p.m.-6 p.m.
