Alcorn State University will host Open Houses for prospective students and their parents to get a glimpse of college life.

The College of Arts and Sciences and School of Business Open House is set for Thursday, April 11 at 9 a.m. in the Rudolph E. Waters Classroom Building. The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and the School of Education and Psychology will host its Open House on Friday, April 19 at 9 a.m. in the Ray Johnson Assembly Auditorium.

“We look forward to seeing students come to our open house to get a more intimate look at the university and meet with their potential deans and faculty members,” said De`Martinez` Simmons, interim director of the Office of Admissions and Recruiting.

These Open Houses will provide prospective students and their families with an opportunity to explore the campus, learn about the various academic programs, and interact with faculty and staff.

Alcorn offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in over 40 majors. In addition, the University has over 80 registered student organizations that suit students’ interests.
