Value-added activities include pre-professional and pre-graduate school courses, standardized test preparation courses, Saturday College, summer research internships, “shadowing” activities, volunteer work, site visits, and priority in Alcorn’s honors residence halls. Once students are admitted to the 3-year program, they are required to participate in their chosen program by attending all value-added activities, while concurrently completing and maintaining high academic standards in their chosen major.
