The Environmental Health and Safety department includes Emergency Management & Response (providing campus emergency medical services and emergency planning); Fire Safety (Fire Protection Equipment testing and inspection, Fire Code Compliance and Inspections); Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA); Event Planning; Lab and Research Safety; and Environmental Compliance.

No job is so important and no service so urgent that we cannot take time to perform our work safely.
Our staff provides the normal emergency, safety and environmental services necessary to assure that the University provides a safe environment for our students, faculty, staff and our community.
