THE PURPOSE OF THE OFFICE OF ALUMNI AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT IS TO:

  • Develop and implement programs to foster stronger relationships between Alcorn State University, National alumni association with alumni, students, supporters and friends
  • Initiate training relevant to the School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences mission and goals for faculty, staff and students.
  • Organize and promote special events and projects for alumni, supporters and friends of School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences
  • Ensure Civil Rights compliance in all programs in School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.

The vision for the Office of Alumni and Staff Development for the School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences is to advance the goals, objectives and priorities of the university and School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences through building and maintaining positive relationships with alumni, supporters and friends and keep abreast of professional development opportunities to promote efficient and effective employee and student development.
