Welcome to Alcorn State University’s Professional Education Preparation Program Unit’s data website. The EPP was granted accreditation through Fall 2022 at both the initial and advanced program levels by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in April 2015. In Spring 2022 the Unit completed its Onsite Reaffirmation visit and currently awaits the final decision from the CAEP Commissioners. The School of Education and Psychology, in partnership with The National Strategic Planning and Analysis Research Center (NSPARC) at Mississippi State University, compiles annual Impact Report Cards for Teacher Education Programs. Fourteen public and private higher education institutions in Mississippi submit data to this clearinghouse to establish external standards for statewide educator preparation programs.

CAEP has identified four (4) accountability measures that are used to provide information on program impact and program outcomes. Below are the four accountability measures for initial and advanced licensure programs with links to supporting data.
