ARCHIVES/SPECIAL COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT
The mission of the Archives/Special Collections is to preserve printed materials related to the history, development, and character of Alcorn State University. The department houses artifacts dating back to the university’s founding, including manuscripts, yearbooks, catalogs, class bulletins, scrapbooks, African-American collections, the Dr. John Dewey Boyd Art collection, and a digital collection. The Archives/Special Collections is located on the second floor of the library.
