Department Mission
The Department of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Agricultural Experiment Station, is committed to providing comprehensive graduate and undergraduate education and research opportunities in various fields, including general agriculture, animal science, plant science, soil science, environmental sciences, agricultural economics, and agribusiness management. Our goal is to prepare students for successful careers in graduate or professional schools, the private sector, or government agencies. We equip our students with a broad and current education in agriculture, along with effective advising, to help them develop the professional and leadership skills needed to thrive in the global marketplace.
