Purpose
The Alumni Hall of Fame is designed to honor distinguished Alcorn State University (ASU) alumni and community leaders whose character and accomplishments exemplify outstanding achievement in the field of agriculture, family and consumer sciences, industrial technology, or related community affiliation, annually. This prestigious award honors individuals who are/were visionary leaders and inspirational, who have made significant contributions in their field of specialization or service to the community. They have demonstrated university spirit, professionalism, and leadership characteristics. The Alumni Hall of Fame was launched in 2015 with its inaugural inductees being honored on August 19, 2016, in Jackson, MS. Honorees will be inducted during an Awards Luncheon on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
