Degree Programs Offered within the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (CAAS)

CAAS consists of four academic departments: Agriculture, Human Sciences, Advanced Technologies, and the Center for Biotechnology.

(1) Agriculture: The Department of Agriculture equips students with skills in scientific research, education, and agricultural leadership. Its curriculum spans disciplines including agronomy, soil science, plant pathology, agricultural economics, and agribusiness.

(2) Human Sciences: Focused on human development, health, and well-being, the Department of Human Sciences prepares students to impact families and communities through educational, nutritional, and developmental services.

(3) Advanced Technology: The Department of Advanced Technologies combines engineering, technology, and applied sciences under the STEM umbrella to prepare students for high-demand technical fields.

(4) Center for Biotechnology: The Center for Biotechnology trains students in genetic engineering and molecular biology, preparing them for careers in research, industry, and further academic study.
