ARCHIVES/SPECIAL COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT

The mission of the Archives/Special Collections is to preserve printed materials relative to the history, development and character of Alcorn State University. The Archives/Special Collections has artifacts that dates back to the founding of the university until present. Items consist of manuscripts, yearbooks, catalogs, class bulletins, scrapbooks, African-American collection, Dr. John Dewey Boyd Art collection and the digital collection. The Archives/Special Collections is located on the third floor of the library.
